Camille Renault
Atelier Sauge opened on Rue du Commerce in 2019, when Camille Renault returned to her native Loire after a decade in Parisian flower studios. The name reflects her palette — sage greens, soft blush, cream — and her belief that flowers should feel gathered, not manufactured.
The shop is small by design. There is no warehouse, no franchise, no menu of identical arrangements. Camille buys from local growers and the Rungis market, ties each bouquet herself, and knows many of her customers by name.
Alongside everyday bouquets, she takes on wedding consultations, event table flowers, and sympathy work — always with the same attention to tone and proportion.
Camille's approach
She trained at a Paris atelier specialising in garden-style weddings before working independently for private clients across Île-de-France. In Blois, she wanted a shop where conversation matters — where you can describe a mood rather than a SKU, and trust that the person listening will also be the person arranging.
Seasonality guides everything. When peonies fade, something else takes their place. When a customer asks for sympathy flowers, Camille chooses stems that feel appropriate — never bright or hurried unless asked.
